Case

What is it?

  • An Allele case is generally synonymous to a worksheet, learning module or patient visit within a space (educational course). Cases can further be broken down into smaller, bite-sized learning chunks called phases that contain specific pieces of educational material and/or specific student assessments. Navigating through a case can range from one in-class session through a few days or more.

Why is it important?

  • Cases in Allele are important because help instructors compartmentalize a set of material and associated assessments to convey a topic to their learners.

Example

Here’s what your cases may look like if you were a veterinary educator teaching Vet Med 101:

  • Space: Vet Med 101
    • Case: Overview of Veterinary Medicine Discipline
    • Case: Careers in Veterinary Medicine
    • Case: Basic Animal Anatomy
    • Case: Veterinary Clinical Skills
